Civilian Response to an Active Threat Training

Last night Sheriff James F. Potter held his second of three “Civilian Response to an Active Threat Training” instructed by Captain Andrew Proudfit and Lieutenant Robert Woods at the South Florida State College. The turnout was wonderful as we presented to nearly 50 DeSoto County residents, who are now empowered and ready to “Improvise, Adapt and Overcome” any situation they may face.

A special thanks to South Florida State College DeSoto Campus Director, Asena Mott for partnering with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office to ensure the safety of our citizens, thank you!
