DaneseDeputy Nicholas Danese has served with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office for 5 years, starting his career in January of 2018.

 

Deputy Danese has served in the Uniform Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions. While working as a Detective, Deputy Danese specialized in Persons Crimes, Child Abuse, and Internet Crimes Against Children. Deputy Danese has specialized training which includes; Speed Measurement – Radar/LIDAR, Basic Patrol Rifle, Death and Homicide Investigations, Crisis Intervention Training, and the Basic School Resource Officer course through the Florida Association of School Resource Officers.

 

In July 2021, Deputy Danese transferred to the School Resource Division where he now serves as a School Resource Deputy at DeSoto High School.

 

Deputy Danese was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, and currently resides in DeSoto County.

Blosser - Copy (2)Deputy Blosser was born and raised in Desoto County and attended Memorial Elementary, the Desoto Middle and High School. He graduated from Desoto High in 2014. In 2015 he joined the United States Navy and served for 4 years aboard the USS Arleigh Burke. He remains in the naval reserves and attends monthly training. Deputy Blosser made the decision to continue to serve others whenever he was sponsored by DCSO in 2019. He attended the Suncoast Technical College Criminal Justice Academy.

Deputy Blosser began his career assigned to the road patrol division. He transferred to the School Resource Officer Division in 2022 and was assigned to Nocatee Elementary School. Deputy Blosser has continued his education with speed measurement device training.

K AlbrittonDeputy Albritton was raised in Hardee County, with family roots in DeSoto County.  She graduated from Hardee Senior High School, worked in the school system, then became a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator.  She completed the 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator Program and served in telecommunications for five years.  Deputy Albritton attended the Criminal Justice Academy at Suncoast Technical College in Sarasota and after successful completion became a Patrol Deputy assigned to the Uniform Patrol Bureau.  She was subsequently transferred to the School Resource Division in April of 2023 and is assigned to West Elementary School.

Deputy Albritton is committed to keeping the children of DeSoto County Safe while striving to make a positive impact in their lives.

Deputy Warren Marino III has served with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office for 4 years, starting his career in December of 2019. Deputy Marino was sponsored by DCSO in 2019 and attended the Suncoast Technical College Criminal Justice Academy.
Deputy Marino has served in the Uniform Patrol Division. Deputy Marino has specialized training which includes; Gracie Survival Tactics Level 1 Instructor for law enforcement, received a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu under Mark Fusco, Basic Patrol Rifle, Taser certification, and Crisis Intervention Training. Deputy Marino graduated from Riverdale High school in 2008 and has been residing in DeSoto County since 2009.
In July 2023, Deputy Marino transferred to the School Resource Division where he now serves as a School Resource Deputy at DeSoto Secondary School.

Deputy Bigsby was born and raised in Desoto County Florida. She graduated from Faith Community Christian Academy and started her career at 18 with the Desoto County Sheriff’s Office. She spent over a year in the 9-1-1 Telecommunicator Program. Deputy Bigsby attended the Criminal Justice Academy at Suncoast Technical College in Sarasota and after successful completion, became a Patrol Deputy assigned to the Uniformed Patrol Bureau. She was subsequently transferred to the School Resource Division in June of 2023 and is assigned to Memorial Elementary School. Deputy Bigsby completed 40 hours of Crisis Intervention Training as well as 40 hours of the Basic School Resource Officer training.

Deputy Bigsby is eager and determined to protect the children in Desoto County and be a positive role model for our future generation.
