A Deputy Sheriff is assigned to each of our County's elementary schools, D.A.C., the DeSoto Middle School and the DeSoto County High School. The officers are present not only to help protect our future, the youth, but also to interact with the students. As an S.R.O. the officers additionally facilitate information to our youth involving life skills through interaction in the classroom such as D.A.R.E.
